U.S. Ship Fires at Iranian Boats

Posted by Joshua Price on April 25, 2008

Well it’s about time we take some aggressive action that sends a message to Iran. Unfortunately it took a civilian ship contracted by the U.S. Navy to send the message.

Here’s an excerpt from Fox News:

A vessel contracted by the Navy in the Persian Gulf fired warning shots Thursday on two fast boats believed to be of Iranian origin.

n a story first reported by FOX News, Navy officials said the Westward Venture fired upon two boats about 50 miles off the coast of Iran.

U.S. Navy Fifth Fleet spokeswoman Cmdr. Lydia Robertson said the boats were of unknown origin, but other Navy officials told FOX News that the markings of the boats and their behavior led them to believe they were Iranian and typical of those used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

As you may recall this isn’t the first time this has happened. A couple of months ago a similar situation occurred where a U.S. Naval Ship was harassed by two Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRG) boats, but no shots–warning or otherwise–were fired.

What’s interesting in this story to me, other than the fact this shows a pattern of harassment by Iran, is that it took a Navy contracted civilian ship to actually fire warning shots.

Why didn’t the Naval vessel fire shots in the incident a couple of months ago? I don’t blame the men and women aboard the Naval ships. Why? Because they are simply following the policies developed to prevent offending anyone by the top brass.

They men and women aboard our ships are so afraid to fire on a potential enemy because they fear being charged with some sort of offense by our own government!

I applaud the civilian ship for sending a message to the Iranians: if you keep dogging and harassing U.S. Naval or civilian ships, we will fire and eventually destroy the IRG boats.

Hamas Sees Islamic Conquest of Europe and America “Very Soon”

Posted by Joshua Price on April 15, 2008

A member of the Palestinian parliament representing Hamas declared in a televised message that Islam “very soon” will conquer Rome, spread throughout Europe then take over the Americas.

Now this is the group, Hamas, that Jimmy Carter will visit. I wonder what he has to say about the desire of Hamas to conquer Europe and America?

Why is an ex-President of the United States of America meeting with a terrorist organization? Because Jimmy Carter hates America in my opinion.

Would this have gone on during World War II?

How are we supposed to win this war when we have an ex-President meeting with the enemy?

I mean what is he seeking to accomplish? Is he, along with Habitat for Humanity, going to be the housing contractor for the new Palestinian half of Jerusalem that Condi Rice and Bush are proposing?

Please tell me that he’s not going over there to negotiate with Hamas. But of course we know that’s what he’s going for. And he has the nerve to be disappointed with Israel not condoning and receiving his visit with open arms.

U.S. Enourages Israel to Cut Jerusalem in 2

Posted by Joshua Price on April 10, 2008

The United States, which has been mediating negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority here, has proposed a plan to divide Jerusalem, WND has learned.

The plan, divided into separate phases, among other things calls for Israel eventually to forfeit parts of the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site.

According to the first stage of the U.S. plan, which was obtained by WND, Israel would give the PA some municipal and security sovereignty over key Arab neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem.

The PA would be allowed to open some official institutions in Jerusalem, could elect a mayor for the Palestinian side of the city and would deploy police forces to maintain law and order.

The initial stage also calls for the PA to operate Jerusalem municipal institutions, such as offices to oversee trash collection and maintenance of roads.

After five years, if both sides keep their certain commitments called for in a larger principal agreement, according to the U.S. plan the PA would be given full sovereignty over the eastern Jerusalem neighborhoods and also over sections of the Temple Mount. The plan doesn’t specify which parts of the Temple Mount would be forfeited to the Palestinians.

So who is the U.S. Diplomat behind this alleged plan?

Condi Rice

Look, I agree with some out there saying that at some point Israel has to begin to fully defend and take care of itself, but this isn’t helping towards that end at all.

What’s more is that Bush is trying to pull a Clinton here by salvaging a positive legacy through instigating an ineffective peace deal between the Palestinians and the Israelis. He is further pulling a Clinton by encouraging this sellout of Jerusalem.

You see, the Israelis always end up being the ones conceding territory and force while the Palestinians get more and more while continuing to support terrorism, encouraging their children to kill Christians and Jews when they grow up.

But remember, Bush and Rice are pro-Israel. I guess if they weren’t Jews would be forced to leave Jerusalem.
