City of Berkeley, Ca Tries to Throw Marines Out

Posted by Joshua Price on February 4, 2008

Liberal hatred for America coming from California should not surprise me, especially from Berkeley, but I have to admit that this latest example of the mental disorder that is liberalism is a bit shocking.

As many of you are probably already aware of the city of Berkeley is trying to evict the Marines and their recruiting offices. Well the story is getting more disturbing by the day. Just read what some demonstrators said and did at the recruiting office:

As the right-wing blogosphere railed and a U.S. senator vowed financial retaliation against the Berkeley City Council for its effort to boot the Marine Corps out of town, three war protesters ratcheted up pressure from the left by chaining themselves Friday to the front door of the downtown Marine recruiting office.

The demonstrators snapped their locks shut at 7 a.m. and spent the next 7 1/2 hours blocking the door, waving and chanting as hundreds of cars driving by honked in support. Finally, at 2:30 p.m., police snipped the chains and arrested them.

Just wait, the degree of liberalism is about to go a lot higher:

The demonstrators promptly said they will keep protesting outside the recruiting station at 64 Shattuck Square until the Marines leave Berkeley – which is what the City Council advised the service to do in a vote Tuesday night that called the Marines “unwelcome intruders.”

“Unwelcome intruders?” Are you kidding me? Do you sick, anti-American psychopaths understand that those “unwelcome intruders” fight for and defend your right to spew such filth? Better yet, do you even care?

I’m sorry but liberals of that ilk I simply have no use for. I would just rather them leave and fight with the enemy.

If you want to oppose war, fine. If you want to protest the military, fine. You couldn’t be more anti-American in that case, but fine. But to call our service men and women “unwelcome intruders” is beyond free speech in my opinion.

And yes, I’m sure some good liberal from Columbia law school will post a comment detailing how the protesters are well within the protections granted under the First Amendment, and that’s fine. All I am telling you is that we can’t survive as a nation with subversive filth like this in America.

Subversive Filth is a little strong wouldn’t you say? What about the fascist government we are now living under? Would you call your president and his ilk, subversive filth. They have discarded the constitution in so many ways. They have sent our children to die so we can invade and take over another country to be in charge of some other countries oil. My gawd man…get a grip. If your president and all the other ‘subversive filth’ believe so much in the military, why are they not fighting in Iraq. Don’t give me any bull about it either. If we love our soldiers, we should bring them home. All they are doing is pissing the rest of the world off. This group in the White House does not even care about this country. Would it ever occur to them to stay home and mind their own business? But never mind, because it is all over. We had a good run of 200 years, but no one stays on top forever. China financially owns us now so I don’t think I would be worrying about some recruiting office in Berkeley California. Which, by the way, as a city has every right to refuse what business comes to town. You can’t ask for any thing more damaging as to trying to recruit our high school boys and girls to go fight your presidents war. That should be a war crime in and of itself. How disgusting is that? That is about as filthy as you can get.

And I am not a republican or a democrat. No one has ever represented me. I think anyone who even entertains the idea of war is quite whacko.

  2. Let me begin by saying that I appreciate your comment.

    On to your points.

You assert that we are living under a fascist government, but wouldn’t you agree that if this were the case those good liberals in Berkeley would’ve been thrown in to some re-education camp?

This is not a fascist government; in fact, it’s actually quite liberal. You understand that Bush has spent more than the last three presidents combined, right? And that’s throwing spending on the War on Terror out!

Would you not agree that the Medicate Prescription Drug debacle is essentially liberal?

Bush’s stance on immigration is decidedly liberal.

Shall I go on? I think I will. This is something that will incite you anti-war folks and the liberals. Bush has fought a liberal, politically correct war. This is precisely why we aren’t winning the war!

So please don’t tell me that this is a fascist government. If you want a fascist government government go elect Hillary Clinton who will garnish your wages if you can afford to pay for her health care plan but refuse to. That’s socialism and fascism!

Anyone you has read this blog over the last several months will tell you that we have been very critical of Bush and his administration for not being conservative enough. So please do not act like I’m some Bush Bot.

Finally, I agree with you in regards to China, but we also need throw in Saudi Arabia, Japan, the UAE, etc. I completely agree that America has taken a backseat to globalism. I believe in capitalism and fair trade, not free, unfettered sit-back-and-watch-China-and-Dubai-control-our-ports-free trade.

With that, welcome to the blog and I encourage to comment often. A good discussion is always welcome.
