Another Example of Not Doing Enough on Immigration

I cam across an interesting story in The Houston Chronicle’s immigration blog today.
The state of California does not make property owners check the immigration status of their tenants. It seems most property owners are happy about this. Why? Because of their greed. You see, this is yet another example of some Americans and American businesses putting their interest in the “bottom line” before the security and well-being of this country.
It goes back to something I wrote last week: we have no national pride or nationalism. The absence of national pride and care is destroying this country from within.
Wake up! What good does your fortune do you if we have no country as a result?
If we started caring as much about this country that we do about money we would start to get back to how we were 70 years ago.
