Rove Finally Departs

Posted by Joshua Price on August 13, 2007

While it is probably too late to save George W. Bush’s administration, Karl Rove’s resignation, and more importantly, his hinting at being done with political consulting is a very good thing for the Republican Party.

While Rove may be a good person, politically and strategically he represents everything that is currently wrong the GOP: free trade over national security, winning campaigns at all costs (including abandoning conservative principles), and spending way too much time worrying what Democrats are doing instead of helping develop effective solutions for our nations problems.

Please Karl Rove, stay on the sidelines of Republican politics.
